Gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was once Ajay Singh Bisht, a resident of Uttarakhand. He was born on 5 June 1972 in Panchur village of Yamkeshwar tehsil located in Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. However, CM Yogi does not celebrate his birthday before Purvashram (before retirement). Being a yogi, he stays away from all this. Like every year, this time also CM Yogi did his usual work without any grand event. However, millions of his fans are sending him birthday wishes. His journey from coming to Gorakhpur to becoming the Chief Minister has been a very difficult one.
After initiation in 1994, he became Yogi Adityanath. Yogi is also the founder of Hindu Yuva Vahini Sangathan, a Hindu youth social, cultural and nationalist group. Yogi Adityanath has done B.Sc in Mathematics from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. Ashok Singhal, the international president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, was also present at the initiation of Yogi who reached the Gorakshanath temple in 1993.
Not only this, the picture of Yogi feeding Tiger’s child in a park in Thailand became very viral on social media. Yogi Adityanath had also appealed to the people to save the tigers while showing pampering with the small cheetah.
Mahant Yogi Adityanath is a disciple of Brahmalin Mahant Avaidyanath, who was Gorakshapeethadhishwar. Yogi Adityanath was MP from Gorakhpur from 1998 to March 2017 and every time his victory figure kept increasing.
In 2017, he took the oath as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
When Yogi Adityanath was elected to the 12th Lok Sabha (1998-99) for the first time in 1998, he was the youngest MP at the age of 26.
